Dr. Shoemaker is licensed and has over twenty years of experience in the field of mental health. Dr. Shoemaker has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology specializing in psychopharmacology and higher education. Dr. Shoemaker has an extensive background in the areas of Individual Adult Psychotherapy, Depression and Anxiety, Marital and Relationship therapy, Substance Abuse, Women's Health Issues, Co-dependency Issues, Stress Management and Career Counseling. In addition Dr. Shoemaker is a professor at several local Colleges and Universities. She teaches Psychology, Counseling techniques, life span and Human development, Human Sexuality and other courses in the field of Psychology and Education.
